Some researchers want to know more about how you and I and other grandparents use video chatting with our grandkids under 5. They asked me to help spread the word, in case you could participate, and I said sure.
So … have you been using Skype, FaceTime, Google Duo, or Facebook Portal with your darling during this pandemic?
Here’s their message:
“Is your child or grandchild under the age of 5? Researchers from Georgetown, University of South Dakota, Lafayette College, Vanderbilt, and Penn State are learning more about video chat with young children during the time of COVID-19 and social distancing.

At the end of the survey, you can choose to enter your email for a drawing to win a $50 e-gift card (1 in 10 chance of winning).
More information about this project can be found on our website at elp.georgetown.edu/portfolio/videochat. We appreciate your help in our efforts to learn from families as they navigate building relationships with young children while social distancing!”
